Through hands-on experience caring for dogs and a growing background in animal behavior, Mercades brings patience, compassion, and dedication to every animal she works with.

Outside of rescue work, Mercades enjoys spending time with her teenage son, being outdoors, reading, learning about animal behavior and psychology, and spending time with her family and animals.
